I have two Grand Seikos (SBGA011 and SBGR083) and a Rolex Submariner. When I compare the two Seikos with the Submariner the comparison tends to favour the GS, but one can't unequivocally say that one is better than the other.
The grip of the bezel is double layered, making it far easier to grip and rotate compared to other famous Diver's such as the Rolex Submariner, whose bezel grip sits relatively low and thin, making it difficult to grasp and turn, especially when wet.

Best diver IMO and in most opinion is fifty fathoms around $10k. But submariner has oyster bracelet, strong aesthetic, broad notoriety, etc. So best is not one factor i.e. tech. Very good dive watches around but Rolex is a very strong balance of all the qualities in a luxury watch that make it desirable.
